Application for Health and Nutrition Resource Persons


Applications are invited from competent professionals for the position of Resource persons at various levels with relevant experience. Preference shall be given to persons having experience with community based organizations as District CRPs, State CRPs, and Community Consultants in Health and Nutrition programs under SERP or NRLM. The positions are at State, District and Clusters spread across all the 13districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Roles and responsibilities

1. They shall be at the forefront of rolling out HN interventions at the cluster level.

2. Facilitate health agenda at the SHG meeting and develop consumption plan as per the protocol. Work closely with the village level institutions and ensure that the supply of ZBNF products is linked with the institutions in the village.

3. To influence farmer households towards dietary diversification and encourage them to consume their own production adopted with ZBNF practices.

4. To support the Natural Farming to Nutrition Fellow in establishing the model schools for promotion of health and nutrition practices.

5. They shall plan thematic campaigns as proposed by the State Team with the support of other functionaries such as NF2NFs and iCRP-HN. To conduct nutrition recipe demonstrations with locally available food groups with special focus on the initial 1000 days of life of a child.

6. To ensure that all the households have access to all health and nutrition services especially among pregnant, lactating, children less than 2 years and adolescent girls.

7. They shall closely work with the SHG groups in mobilizing households towards HN interventions.

Relevant Qualification and Experience:

Candidates who have a minimum of 10th class and have 7 years of relevant field experience are eligible to apply. However, relaxation may be given in the case of those who have the most suitable experience.


Selection for induction:

1. Eligible candidates are invited to apply on the portal and are screened basis the requirement.

2. Screened candidates are then sent for immersion in ZBNF villages where they stay in the village/cluster and learn, practice and understand ZBNF and program related activities

3. Post immersion assessment: The candidates reporting after their immersion are assessed on the basis of their reports, behavioral and personality assessment.

Note: Candidates would be paid a living stipend of Rs.7,500/- during the entire duration of immersion period.

Post the immersion the Resource Persons shall be interviewed and the shortlisting shall be done.

Assignment with RySS

The services of the Resource Persons shall be for a period of 20days per month. The monthly honorarium and other allowances as per the RySS policy.
